Pray for short term teams in preparation

The New Zealand summer season can be a busy one for short term teams heading to different parts of the globe. Some of these have a very practical focus to them, others an outreach role, others designed for as experiential and observational.

Pray for these teams and the areas that will receive them.

 - for preparation processes to be thorough and contextual; that participants understand why and what the team is about; that they

 - for those leading the teams that they may have wisdom in decision making, leadership, clear and calm heads

 - for the overseas field personnel receiving the groups - for the balancing of the usual daily acitvities for them amongst preparations for hosting a group.

 - for the sending church communities as they support these groups to go

 - for a resulting and broader awareness of world mission, for both individuals and sending church communities and for God to work as he further calls individuals to service.
