The New Zealand Baptist Missionary Society (NZBMS)

NZBMS is the overseas mission organisation for the Baptist Churches of New Zealand. It is comprised of four entities (Tranzsend, Banzaid, Marketplacers, Mission World) which together serve the churches in New Zealand and communities in South, East and South East Asia.

In this full time Auckland-based role, you will be responsible for effectively & strategically developing and managing all financial requirements of NZBMS, working to ‘best practice’ standards for systems and processes. This includes a range of activity such as data entry, reporting, budget development, forex management, overseas remittances, and management of external partnerships to ensure the organisation is compliant and achieves targets.

You will be technologically savvy with a knowledge of Xero and have experience in a financial role. You will preferably have some understanding of not-for-profit organisations and the global mission scene. You are a team player with a great sense of humour!
